Tom had an exciting Idaho elk hunt back in 1976. They had a bear who destroyed their camp, but it didn't destroy the hunt. After all that excitement, Tom harvested this 39-inch wide, 6x7 bull.
Tom took the bull with his 7mm Weatherby Mag. at 40 yards, and was guided by Indian Lake Outfitters on the north fork of the Salmon River.
