Lynn Hadlock writes, "Shanna Hadlock drew a Limited Entry Book Cliffs North Rifle Tag for 2014. It was a tough dry hunt, and was able to anchor this monster just a couple of days into the hunt. He green scores 201-7/8” with a typical frame of 193”. He has main beams over 25”, and G3’s and G4’s that all measure 11” plus. Our family has always enjoyed hunting the Book Cliffs. This was Shanna’s second tag since the unit was turned into a draw. I myself (Lynn Hadlock) have had 2 tags both in 2001 and 2007. I was also along for the ride on this hunt with Mom and lucky enough to have my 3rd tag in hand. I couldn’t outdo Mom, but was happy to harvest a big, gnarly, mature old buck late into the hunt. He won’t score, but was everything I wanted in a deer… minus tine length."
