Doug Doherty and his buddies had some great fun hunting caribou in Alaska this year. They used a local air carrier to fly them into unit 23 in northwestern Alaska where they harvested one moose and several caribou.
Doug writes, "We started out the week with a bull moose down before noon on opening day. Then the Caribou started to arrive! The hunting got better and better as the season progressed".
