Mark and Tony Zacher sent these photos of the bucks they took in 2002.
Mark writes, "My son and I had a great deer season this year, we didn't find the big Muleys, but had fun trying. The opening weekend for Black Hills deer was good (Nov 1st). My son, Tony, shot his first whitetail in the Black Hills at 175 yards.
Two days later I took a quality whitetail myself, using one of my own loads with a 139 gr. Hornady SST bullet in a Ruger 7mm Rem Mag., dropped this buck at 300 yards like a ton of bricks. All in all it was a great father and son hunting weekend."

The following weekend, Mark and Tony headed to South Dakota where they took two mule deer bucks.
