John Bates writes, "Here are some pictures of the bear I shot on May 6, 2006 in southeast Alaska. It gross scored 21 14/16 B&C and weighs in around 600 lbs in the spring! We squared it right in at 8 ft. Spotted this big bear feeding on a old logging road and stalked within 50 yards. It took four shots from my 300 win. mag to finally put this bear down and every shot was in the kill zone! The best part is that my dad was following behind and filmed the whole event!"
