Brent Morrill writes, "After taking an eastern turkey with an 11 inch beard and 1 1/4 inch spurs in the first week of the Ohio spring season, I thought I'd give the bow a try at it for the second turkey. The first day out with the bow my buddy and I had 7 gobblers within range, but not having a blind, we were never able to draw without them seeing us.

The next morning I set up in the same place as the previous morning with absolutely nothing gobbling on the roost. I set out a decoy and decided to wait it out. I hadn't been sitting more than two minutes when this tom came strutting out of the trees to my decoy. Now at 30 yards I took the shot. The picture tells the rest. 9 inch beard, 1 1/4 inch spurs, 20 pounds."
