The evening of opening day we were set up overlooking a good canyon with thick timber on the opposing side. Multiple bulls started showing up as the light was fading and then this guy stepped out. From even 1000 yards it was easy to see those 22" thirds! He walked down into range with 10 minutes left of shooting light. We had my wife ready and waiting on my Custom 7mm Rem Mag and she sent a 175 gr ELD-X his way at 955 yards. That's all it took, one shot through the upper vitals and he was done for! The pack out in the dark was a pleasure for a bull like this.

I green scored him at 348 and change, gross. 22" thirds, 48" outside spread. An extra point in a palmation between his left 5th and 6th makes him a genuine 6x7. His points are so long that they hide a lot of his mass... trust me he's heavy!
