Scott writes, "We hunted all day Saturday and glassed from on top of the ridges and saw a lot of goats. Watched as they ran from every truck that drove down the road chasing them all over the place. We knew that wasn't going to be the way to hunt them and parked in different area's and hiked our butts off.
Sunday morning we had a plan to drive the truck all the way to the base of the mountain and hike down in some washes keeping us hidden from view and glass for antelope heading to water which would be about 500 yards further down the hill. As we started down at about 6:15, we spotted some antelope already heading to water. We quickened the pace and made to about 150 yards from where I thought they would be.
When we crawled out of the wash when I caught something out of the corner of my eye. It was this buck at a dead run straight for me. The sun was right behind me so he was making me out for another antelope. They were in the rut so I must have been looking pretty good to him. I already had my shooting sticks out so it was a fairly easy 120-yard shot.

This is Scott's first Antelope and it measures 14-3/4 inches.
