"A Great Hunt in South Dakota"
Photo provided by: Mark Zacher

Here's a couple photos sent by Mark Zacher. Tony Zacher, Mark's son, drew for the first time, an antelope tag for Harding county, South Dakota. He passed on several smaller bucks during his hunt before harvesting this fine trophy (Upper Photo).
Mark writes, "He (Tony) belly crawled for about 50 yards and got into position and waited for a good shot. He was shooting a Savage .243 with a 85 grain Nosler Partion, that I reloaded. The shot was placed at about 235 yards, and the Antelope was down. He measured 14 1/2". What a proud kid, and Dad! The neat thing was there were 16 hunters in the camp and his was the biggest one. What a great first buck Antelope".

The lower photo is of the buck that Mark's buddy, Kevin Martin, harvested. This was Kevin's largest antelope. He took the buck at about 110 yards with a Tikka 30-06 shooting 160 grain bullets.
