"A Belly Crawl to Success"
Photo provided by: Aaron Shewman

Aaron and his father found this buck the day before the opener and again spotted him at first light on opening morning.
Aaron spent 45 minutes belly crawling through the brush, ultimately closing the distance. As he peaked over the ridgeline, he spotted a doe, but she had spotted him also. He took one more step forward, spotted the buck, then the entire group of antelope took off.
Aaron took a chance as they slowed going over the next ridge, and he has his buck.
The buck has 14-inch horns on both sides with nice white tips that point in toward each other. Somewhat unique.
