Justin Law writes, "I found this buck out on the winter range in the spring while shed hunting. He was lying under a single lone juniper. His skeleton was fully intact and after close inspection I couldn't find any broken bones. I don't know if it was the hard winter that got him or one of the many hungry mountain lions in that area. Whatever the cause was, this buck is truly one of those "Big Boys" you see in your mind on that sleepless night before opening day."
