Mical Bracken writes, "Here are some pictures of a 24" four-point that I harvested in southwestern Utah on the opening morning of this years rifle hunt. Just as the sun came up I spooked a smaller four-point and then watched it get shot by another hunter. About an hour later, I heard this buck crashing down the mountain straight across from me. When he reached the bottom, my dad and sister started shooting at him from the opposite side of the canyon, but they had to stop because he was headed right for me. He had no idea I was standing there waiting for him and he literally would've run right into me if he hadn't turned at the last second. I took him from about 30 yards and the rest is history. This is the second time in my life that I've harvested a nice four-point in that same area simply by being in the right place at the right time.
The last photo is of a 29-inch monster that my friend, Tim Shurtliff, harvested this year on the Paunsaugunt."
