Jerry Holton, aka supersider34, kills great bucks nearly every year in Idaho. This year is no exception! In fact, his son, Damian, is getting into the action.

Jerry writes, "Here is my sons first monster muley. He thinks he is the king now. His hunt was a one day run after school and before his roller hockey game. We went out into an either sex youth hunt because my son told me he did not care what he shot this year. Went out, found a doe and when he moved around to get a shot, 7 deer stood up. This buck was in the midst of them and of course he had to take this very nice buck. He is rock solid when he shoots. Has nerves of steel, unlike his dad who gets to wound up in the moment. I told him that this might be his biggest buck he will harvest. His rifle buck is bigger than any buck I have harvested with a rifle. My son is a excellent hunting partner. Getting better each year with me. Love to spend the time with him in the field as he is learning the great art of hunting. I have to train him right now, as my back won't hold up forever and will need him to pack for me.
My hunt was an exciting and very long season of hunting to harvest this buck (lower photo). One of the most exciting hunts I have been on in several years."
