David writes, "Well, I put my dad in for a quality elk hunt in southwestern NM for 3 years now, and he finally drew. He drew the 2nd choice that I selected which was the last bull rifle hunt in the same area I prefer to bow hunt. I was excited for him and urged him to take this opportunity seriously as I know quite well the quality of the hunt he was in for. My dad's first elk is something for him to brag about. Not only did he bag a very respectable bull, but he worked hard for it, and I got to be by his side through it all."
