"Porter's Wyoming Trophy Buck"
Photo provided by: Porter Chadwick

Porter Chadwick writes, "Here is the largest mule deer I have ever taken. This deer measured 28-1/2" spread and 17 scorable points. He was taken in Lingle, Wyoming by me with the assistance of Tom Strong of Eagle Eye Outfitters. We had spotted the deer on the side of the rim at roughly one mile shading under an overhang. We made a stalk for about 3 hours and circled to a point right above him within 120 yards. Sadly, over the next few days, while spotting for a friend, I witnessed at least 5 deer larger than mine. And one of the deer was a little larger twin to mine."
