Fred Rathke writes, "My buddy, Brian Polston, took this nice blacktail the last week of the 2008 western Oregon blacktail season while walking a power line. He spotted a doe and then noticed the horns, he was lying down in the brush. The buck jumped up and Brian's buddy got a shot off and missed (nice for Brian just before the buck reached the timberline Brian scored a hit."
