Jarrod Denton writes, "On January 24th, I sat in my ground blind until 11:00. I got back into my blind about 3:00 and was getting discouraged because nothing was coming in. All of a sudden, around 6:00 p.m., there was a noise from behind the blind. A doe had come in and he was right behind her. It seems as if it took forever for him to get into position for the shot, but finally he cooperated. This is my first mule deer buck and my first archery (harvest). The deer has a 32-inch spread, scores 196-1/8 in SCI and he will rank as #2 Desert Mule Deer taken with a bow."
