"Cameron's Backcountry Buck (T-shirt Winner!)"
Photo provided by: Cameron Hanes

Cameron Hanes writes, "I arrowed this guy on the third day of Oregon's archery season, August 26th in Oregon's largest wilderness, the Eagle Cap.
Did a drop camp hunt some 10 to 12 miles back and hunted deeper from there. I got in on him when he was bedded, with another bomber, at 20-yards. He did not know I was there, but coincidently enough stood to reposition himself out of the sun. He skirted a small tree and turned broadside at 25-yards, I was on auto pilot! One arrow was all that was necessary as it blew through and pinwheeled a tree on his off side. He traveled only 50-yards, maybe 75, before piling up and expiring in less time than it took to write this account."
