Jared writes, "It was the second weekend of the 1999 bow season in ND and I returned to try and find the buck that I seen the previous weekend. I decided to do some still hunting and found this buck hiding out in some thick cover. After a 4 hour stalk, I was within 30 yards of the big buck. My shot was true and I watched as the buck ran over a ridge looking like he wouldn't go much farther. I topped the ridge and there he was! There was no ground shrinkage on this big boy! This buck was aged at only 3 years old. Imagine if he would of been in his prime!"
