Over the past few years, Randy Simkins has definitely had some good luck. He shot the buck in the top 2 photos in 2002. And, in the lower photo is his 1999 buck.
Randy writes, "This year I found this buck hanging out with nine other bucks almost every time I went hunting. I got within 85 yards of them 8-10 times. After missing a shot at a thick 3x3 and one at this deer earlier in the season, I finally got my best chance the weekend before the rifle season started. Early on this morning, I spotted seven bucks coming down the draw that I was waiting above. I slowly worked my way down in the bottom of the draw and waited. Most off the bucks were passing by to high, but this one came down a trail 56 yards away. After calming my nerves and taking careful aim, I could finally admire this buck that I was lucky enough to watch so many times."
