Steven Murillo writes, "While hunting in Colorado, my friend Sergio Garcia (left) and I, Steven Murillo (right) aka buckdropper, came across these nice bucks. Sergio's is a 5x5 and is 29 inches wide and mine is a 4x4 and is 24 inches wide. As we hiked up the mountain, I saw Sergio drop to a knee about ten yards in front of me and let one fly from his 7 mag. As the shot connected, 8 other bucks jumped up and walked up to the top of the mountain. After we walked to Sergio's buck, I decided to head up after the other 8 bucks. As I reached the lip of the mountain, I saw all 8 bucks headed to a water pond about 180 yards away. As I crawled over the top, I glassed them for about 20 minutes trying to figure out which on was the biggest, all were 20 . After deciding on the big 4x4, I set up the 7mm wsm and after looking at him through the scope for 10 minutes he finally gave me a shot and one was all it took. This is my first big buck and I look forward to seeing him hanging on the wall. This is Sergio's 3rd bomber and all three have been taken in the same canyon."
