John Bates writes, "I had a tough season this year archery hunting for elk in Montana due to wolves moving into my hunting area. But, I was able to connect on this five point the last week in the season. I wanted something bigger, but it was a special bull because I shot it in a foot of snow and made a mile long stalk and a two hundred yard belly crawl to get into shooting distance.
The (bottom) picture is my deep forked muley I got in Montana this year. He is nice 4 point and I figured he would score around 170."
