"Frank's Wyoming Speedgoat"
Photo provided by: Frank Thimm

Nasty weather didn't stop Frank Thimm from having success in Wyoming.

Frank writes, "Instead of the 3-4 day window of nice weather, I ended up with a day and a half. Made the best of it though and killed my best antelope to date. He isn't that tall, comes in right at 14 inches, but has great mass I think. Right side base is 7-2/8 inches, left side is 7-3/8 inches, next measurement is still right at 7-1/8 on both side. With 5-5/8 inch prongs and just a little ivory on this tips, I was happy to take him. Shot was maybe a little further back than planned due to the wind, but my longest at 307 yards laser ranged. Rifle used was a custom Model 700 in 7mm-08 shooting factory 140 grain Fusion ammo."
