Brandon O'Keefe writes, "Here's a central Colorado buck taken on the fourth day of the 2nd season. It was funny because on opening day I decided to settle for a smaller 4x4 because I had my 70 year old grandpa along for the ride and he's not to keen on passing on any deer. Well, knowing he may not be with me in years to come, and not being certain how many more hunts we had together, I hiked up to the buck with him watching through the spotting scope, and I missed a perfectly broadside shot at 125 yds!!! It was an embarrassing hike to the truck and boy did I hear it from my grandpa all the way home.
Luckily, I did miss or I never would've had a chance at this guy. It was a fun hunt and can't wait to take my grandpa out for his deer at the end of October. Also, thanks to my best buddy Joey, next year is your year buddy. I already got one spotted for you!!!!"
