Doug Morland writes, "My wife and I spotted this goat on opening day while glassing a bowl near Mount Princeton. It was bedded on a ridge line facing away from us. I stalked to within 125 yards, but didn't have a shot because all I could see was its head and butt. I started crawling sideways to get a better angle and it heard me. It pushed itself up on its haunches with its front legs to look behind it and I had the quartering away angle I needed. I shot and it laid back down and expired in its bed. I took this photo of my wife with my goat."
