Jeremy, aka hornkiller, shared these cool shots of what he and his brother, Luke, picked up.
Jeremy wrote, "My little brother (Luke) came into town to head to one of my spots. On the way there I asked him how long it had been since he picked up an elk shed. He looked at me like I shot his best dog and he said "5 years". He had no idea what was about to happen. He picked a canyon we had seen some bulls in a week prior to hike up in. He was dead set, I couldn't change his mind. I wanted him to come with me, but I guess ya get that feeling every once in a while...just flow with it. When we got there I seen a rag horn messin around with a small 6 piont on the ground. At first I thought he had just shed cause it was just breakin light. After 9 hours of up & down I was at the truck with only that horn. Headed over to pick up my brother. Ya he kicked my butt...3 sets and a single. Next day was better for me, not so good for him. He only found 2 deer sets. We ended up with 37 all together. I had 5 elk sets, so not too bad of a trip!"
