Kenneth Swanson writes, "I shot this buck on opening morning at 8.30am. I had him at my waterhole 2 times before opening day and had good discussion with him that this is where he should drink from. He listened, and after a 40 yard forward angle shot from left to righ, he went down! Crazy to believe it was the 3rd shot of the morning and the second at him! That is another story.
There was over 45 in the herd and he stood out over 2 other great bucks with his height.
He greened out at just over 82 with 16.75” on each side for height. I could only imagine if he would have had some longer prongs!"
The other lower photo is a buck that my good buddy, Dan Allen, and I snuck on from over 1500 yards away. Just after 10am and a 100 yard belly crawl, he pulled the trigger and made a great 300 yard shot to tag out his first antelope. This was also on the opening morning of the rifle hunt in the same zone."
