Timothy Brady writes, "On the third day of our hunting trip, my friend, Jerry, was still in search of his first Rocky Mountain bull elk. We were in northwestern Colorado, Nov. 3rd 2004, and they decided to hunt this ridgeline that we saw a herd moving on the previous day. I was down at camp when I heard the radio crackle. It was Jerry asking for more rounds, he forgot to bring extra. Well, I hesitantly said I would bring him up some. I drove up to where they were parked, and noticed Jerry (he was standing at the top of the hill I was parked just below), looking over the upper ridge. He then drew his gun and shot 3 times. When I got to the top of the hill, he was proudly showing off the bull that was charging right at him, full speed! He took his shot from about 40 yards away, and finally watched his bull go down."
