Eric writes, "Here's a picture of the bull I took in 2005. The hunting season started off a little slow, with two of my buddies coming up to hunt with me from Texas. We hunted a little hard the first 4 days of the hunt. But with my buddies being whitetail hunters, they really didn't have a clue. After the 4th day they gave up and went back to Texas. I must say after they went home I almost gave up too. But, on the last day of hunt I went back out for one last try. I hiked back in about 5 miles just behind my house, skirting some big meadows, with no luck. Finally I hiked over this ridge and saw about 10 cows just along the treeline feeding. I sat down and started looking at them through my scope. Finally, I saw this big bull with his herd. He was about 200 yards away and didn't have a clue I was there. It took only one shot from my Wheatherby 300 mag. to take him down.
The bull was a 6x6 with a 40 a spread and 9 1/2 inch at his bases."
