After seven years of applying, Jared Sorenson drew a limited entry tag for the Elk Ridge unit of southeastern Utah. He didn't have much time to scout, except for the weekend before the hunt while spike elk hunting. He took this buck on opening day of his hunt. The buck is over 31 inches wide and they rough scored him at over 190.
