Riley Hadlock writes, "I had a successful opening morning here in Utah, I shot this buck at 55 yards out of my treestand after watching him most of the morning. I climbed into my stand at 6:00 AM and right away I had 4 small bucks come walking through, they walked right underneath me and continued traveling to the north. About 20 minutes later I heard some noise and noticed that they had joined up with 3 other bucks - this buck being one of them. I watched them feed and then bed down, then they would feed for a little while and bed back down, I wanted to climb out of my stand and try to put a stalk on him since he was only 113 yards from me, but I made the decision to stay put and see if he would walk my direction. Finally a little after 10:00 AM he walked my way and gave me an opportunity. As I watched my arrow hit the mark, I was pumped! I couldn't be more happy with this buck."
