Here's a giant interior grizzly bear that Tom Brown harvested on the second day of hunting in Alaska in April. The bears skull taped 24 and 7/8 and the hide squared 9 feet.
Tom writes, "This is one of three guided hunts I have been on in my entire life. I have been told that I am very lucky to kill such a monster grizzly as many others have spent thousands and weeks only to return empty handed. I also took a big wolf on the same trip and once again, I have heard it is very difficult to kill a wolf because they are super smart and hard to get close to. I saw the wolf at a kill site, however it was alerted that something was wrong by the ravens, and it took off up the drainage looking my direction. The wolf made a big circle behind me trying to pick up my scent, however I was wearing scent lock and had on snow camo. After about thirty minutes the wolf trotted out in front of me and gave a two second window of opportunity which I promptly took advantage of."
