Tom Brown, with Ojo Caliente Outfitters, sent these photos of the fine animals he harvested in 2003. In the top photo is Tom's Columbian Blacktail.
The lower photo is of Tom's smokepole bull that he took in New Mexico.
Tom writes, "We had five bulls screaming all around us and this loud bull was just on the other side of the drainage. My pals, Jose Luis, David Rutherford, and I set up in the bottom, calling like a herd of love sick cows, and down he came. The 300 grain bullet went through his vitals and lodged in his skin on the other side."
