Rob Dunlap, aka Oryxman , writes, "The day before was a typical New Mexico day(WINDY). Cutting only a few set of tracks we decided to look in the hills. Bingo there he is. This bull was laying against a ridge out of the wind. We dropped down below the ridgeline keeping the wind right and keeping this bull in sight. 20 minutes later found the bull grazing the base of the ridge at 312 yards. My hunter was sure of the shot and sent the 7 mag on its way. The bull never knew what happened.
