"Michael's Wyoming Antelope"
Photo provided by: Michael Waite

Michael Waite, aka hunterman67, harvested this nice antelope in Wyoming last season.
Michael writes, "We saw the herd of 14 grazing at 400 yards. After they slowed down I decided to get closer. I belly crawled for 150 yards and dropped behind a small dirt berm. I lost sight of them for about 5-6 minutes and thought they may have blown the county when I heard a shot from the next valley. Out of nowhere a small buck came running toward me at 100 yards. Behind him was this buck---hitting the small one in the butt with his horns. The funniest thing I have seen hunting, a bigger buck hitting a smaller buck in the butt---chasing him away from his does no doubt about it. Well, the small one saw me and stopped, the big one ran up right behind him and looked right at me at 80 yards. They turned away to leave and I had him in the scope following him as he walked away. One shot and it was done."
