My husband & sons have hunted all their lives. Yes, I rode out once in a while, but never really got serious. Finally, I decided to put in for the Limited Entry Elk Draw in an area near our home town. After 12 years, I finally drew a permit!!

The highlight was that our 9 year old grandson, Ty, was with us. After I shot it with one shot, he was so excited he could hardly stand it!! The next morning, he came over before school and said, "Grandma, I need to talk to you." I ask him what he needed and he said, "Grandma, when I get old enough to go hunting, will you go with me? You're the best shot we've got!"

It was definitely a new, great, experience for me!"
