Tom Brown writes, "I shot this big coues buck with my camera attached to my spotting scope one day and I went back and shot him with my rifle the next! I had watched and photographed this buck and his doe and I have all sorts of photos of him, but many of them are blurry. In this live photo he was sniffing the does bed to see if she was ready to breed. He stayed with her all day, but kept his distance. I watched him defend his doe by running off two other bucks who dropped by to check on her. There was also another big 110 inch buck that was making the rounds in the same drainage the next day when I took his picture! Ojo Caliente had a great year and 13 hunters took 15 bucks averaging 98 gross inches of antler."
