Cory Doyle and his brother-in-law, Kevin, had some great luck during the 2003 Utah archery season.
Cory writes, "The first picture is a buck that I took on the Paunsaugunt unit the first week of the bowhunt. He is 28" wide and has real good mass. My Dad and I spotted the buck feeding in a clearcut and I was able to stalk in and doublelung him at 35 yards. I drew the tag as part of the Dedicated hunter program by turning in my unfilled tag from 2002, so it was kind of a freebie tag that did not affect my bonus points at all.
It was an awesome hunt!
The second picture is a buck that my brother-in-law, Kevin, shot this past weekend. He took the buck in Central Utah from a treestand over
water that has been very productive the past couple of years. I have taken 2 elk and a deer from this same stand, so I guess it is our
hotspot of late!! This was his first buck with a bow-a great one to start out with!"
