"From an early age my two main passions in life have been Nature and Art. My wilderness experiences are my main inspiration, both creatively and personal. It is this love of nature that I hope to convey through my paintings and photographs. I paint primarily wildlife subjects, but I see the animals as part of the landscape. I strive to go beyond animal portraits and capture the details and the mood of a particular scene. If I invoke in the viewer an appreciation for the beauty and variety in nature then I have succeeded."
