Shot just 20 minutes into the season open, everyone is talking about 14-year-old Cearra Mees' bull....6x6 bull elk (rough score of 330). She double-lunged the beast twice, taking three vital shots with her lucky 8mm Remington. First and third shots she double-lunged him. The second shot she hit him in the stomach. She hunted the elk in the North Dakota badlands, and so far, it is the largest elk shot in the state for the season! Go girl!"
