Brian Evans writes, "Here are a few pictures of my daughter’s (Morgan) first buck. We tracked this buck for roughly half a mile after seeing it earlier in the day. When we caught up with him, he was bedded down in a little patch of timber with a doe and another smaller buck. We could only see the smaller buck in the trees at about 30 yards, but knew the bigger buck was close by, we caught some movement and noticed the buck slipping out through the bottom of the group of trees. We quickly ran to an opening in the trees, laid the bipod down, and when the buck finally stopped and turned broadside she shot the stag right behind the shoulders with her .240 Weatherby at just over 300 yards."
