Cody Doig writes, "This past September I quit my job to hunt a limited draw unit in NW Colorado. After 20 days of hunting, I was fortunate to take this beautiful public land monarch. The night before I made the shot on this bull, I missed a smaller six point that ultimately led me to the area where this Old Warrior was hanging out. That night I watched him and two other monsters battle for cows, bugle constantly and run off other satelite bulls as a huge storm came in through an orange sunset......something I'll never forget.

The next morning, I found myself roughly 60 yards away from this guy as he pushed his cows off the plateau. The rest, is in the pictures. 8x6, 340-inch weathered and scarred warrior in the sage country. A defining experience of my life."
