Dave writes, "This was in a general season area in Utah that I have hunted for years. It was fun to have my son join me on the hunt this year. In past years he has started school that week and hasn't been able to come along. On all of the hunts we have done together over the past few years, he has been the shooter with me helping him. He didn't have a tag for this hunt so our roles were reversed for the first time. Being able to share the experience made it all the sweeter. I had been hunting with a recurve exclusively for the past 20 years, but have been playing around with the compound bow on a few of my hunts lately. Fortunately I had my compound for this one because the 45 yard shot I got would have been out of my range with the recurve. He scores 194 even. We were both using our Vortex Binoculars."
