Tom Colberg and his army buddy, Robert, only hunted together a few times, and it resulted in a great friendship. Tom sent us these photos of the big bear that Robert took while hunting from a treestand on the Fort Lewis Army Post in Washington state in 2004.

While protecting us all, Robert lost his life on August 18th, 2005 in Kandahar-Afghanistan.
