My hunting buddy, Scott Houston, got it done on day 7 of the Wyoming archery hunt. I had made a couple of plays on this buck earlier in the hunt, but then I filled my tag on day 5. We went out on day 7 for one last try before packing out later in the day. Luck was on our side and I spotted this buck on the sidehill where we expected to see him.
Scott hustled to the top of the ridge above the buck while I kept a close eye on him, and over the next hour or so, the buck worked his way to the ridge and walked right up to Scott and he got it done. Good times!!
The buck has two droptines that you can clearly see on the bucks right side, but then also has a tine that comes off the back right base and turns down. A real cool, unique trophy.
