Jake Jenkins (aka jinksedagain) writes, "Just wanted to share this nice buck I got while hunting with my dad. We were in a new unit we have never been in before. I spotted this buck on the 4th day of the hunt and spent my next few evenings and mornings glassing and attempting stalks. I finally put it together late in the afternoon on 7th day. It made it a lot of fun for my dad and I to spend that time together figuring this buck out. He was old and tricky for sure, vanished on us a multiple of times. I would spot him a long way off, leave my dad on the scope and he would just vanish in the sage brush right before his eyes. Well, it is decently hard to find large bucks like this in Oregon, so we were glad to have harvested him. Great hunt."
