Hunting Colorado's high country with a bow can be a fantastic adventure, and a successful one as well. Tyler Nelson got after it hard in the high country and scored.

Tyler writes, "This is the first animal I have ever harvested with a bow. He was grazing by himself in the tall buckbrush in an avalanche chute, just above treeline. I was able to sneak up the chute and get above him on a rock outcropping. He walked out at about 15 to 20 yards and had no idea I was there. I made a clean lung shot and he only went 30 yards before going down. First call I made was to the taxidermist when I got back into cell service!"
